You Trash!

When you're a former NBA defensive star, you'd think you'd be used to getting treated like royalty at any restaurant you walk into. But it seems that wasn't the case for one prominent player when he recently dined out and left a tip that was laughable even by average American standards.

According to reports, this former NBA great received a massive $30 million deal, but apparently didn't feel like parting with more than 43 cents on the dollar in terms of tipping. A whopping $13 on a bill that likely ran into several hundred dollars is not exactly setting the bar high for generosity.

But what's really interesting here is that the waiter didn't just quietly pocket the tip and move on - he had some choice words to say about it too. When questioned by other diners about his behavior, the waiter reportedly let out a few choice phrases in front of the whole restaurant, including "You trash!".

While we can't help but feel for the guy who got called out, we have to wonder - is $13 really enough to show appreciation for good service when you're sitting on a fortune like that?
