Yellowstone Tourist Suffers Consequences After Getting Too Close to Bison: 'I Don't Feel Bad, Not One Bit'

A tourist's decision to get up close and personal with a bison at Yellowstone National Park has resulted in some serious consequences.

A 23-year-old visitor from Florida was gored by the large animal after venturing too far away from designated viewing areas. According to park officials, the tourist ignored warning signs and continued to approach the bison despite repeated attempts to scare it off.

The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, has been taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. When asked if they regretted their actions, the tourist replied: 'I don't feel bad, not one bit.'

Park Officials Warn Visitors About Bison Behavior

Yellowstone officials are stressing the importance of maintaining a safe distance from wildlife in the park. "Bison can be unpredictable and territorial," said park spokesperson.

  • Keep at least 25 yards away from all wildlife, including bison, elk, moose, and bears.
  • Avoid approaching or feeding wildlife under any circumstances.
  • Stay on designated trails and avoid wandering off into the wilderness.
