Woman's Tesla Dies Suddenly While Charging at Wawa Convenience Store

A bizarre incident has left a woman stranded and concerned about her electric vehicle's safety after it suddenly died while charging at a Pennsylvania convenience store.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was driving her Tesla when she stopped at a Wawa gas station to charge her battery. She plugged in the car and noticed that it had 110 miles of range remaining before it suddenly shut down, leaving her locked inside.

"I was sitting there for about five minutes, and then all the lights went out," she said in an interview. "There was no air circulating, and I couldn't get out of the car."

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, a customer at Wawa called 911 to report the situation. The woman was eventually rescued by paramedics, who had to break into her car to free her.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and reliability of Tesla's charging system, particularly in situations where emergency services may not be readily available.
