Woman Plugs In Tesla With 110 Miles of Charge at Wawa. Then It Immediately Dies

A shocking story has emerged from a Pennsylvania Wawa convenience store, where a Tesla owner claims her electric vehicle died on her after she plugged it in for a charge. The bizarre incident has left many wondering about the reliability of electric vehicles and the infrastructure to support them.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told local authorities that she had driven her Tesla into Wawa's parking lot with 110 miles of battery life remaining. She intended to top off her charge while grabbing a quick bite to eat, but what happened next was anything but ordinary.

"There was no air circulating," the woman explained to police. "I tried to get out, but my doors were locked and I couldn't open them." The woman was effectively trapped in her car, with no way to escape or call for help.

Fortunately, a Wawa employee happened to be walking by and noticed the woman's distress. They quickly called 911, and emergency responders arrived soon after to free the woman from her stuck vehicle.

The incident has raised questions about the safety of electric vehicles, particularly in situations where charging infrastructure may not be robust or reliable. While Tesla and other EV manufacturers have made significant strides in recent years, there is still much work to be done to ensure that their products are safe and functional in a variety of real-world scenarios.
