Where Snowfall will be the Worst this Weekend: Map

This weekend's winter weather forecast has a lot of us bracing for impact, especially if you're planning on traveling or enjoying outdoor activities. A powerful low-pressure system is moving into the region, bringing heavy snow and strong winds with it.

We've got our hands on a detailed map that shows just where the heaviest snowfall is expected to hit. Take a look:

• Maine and New Hampshire: Expect 6-12 inches of snow in some areas, with higher totals possible near the mountains.
• Upstate New York: A winter storm warning has been issued for parts of the state, with 8-14 inches expected.
• Vermont: Similar to Maine and New Hampshire, up to a foot of snow is possible in some areas.

If you're planning on venturing outside this weekend, make sure to bundle up! It's also a good idea to check the latest forecast before heading out.
