Verizon Offers Credits to Customers After 10-Hour Outage

A major outage affected Verizon customers across the country yesterday, leaving many without service for over 10 hours. The telecommunications giant has announced that it will be offering credits to affected customers as a goodwill gesture.

The outage was reportedly caused by a technical issue with one of Verizon's network hubs. While the company did not provide an exact timeline for when services were restored, users on social media reported being without service from around 8pm EST until late morning yesterday.

Verizon has apologized for the inconvenience and has stated that it will be providing credits to customers who experienced disruption during the outage. The amount of the credits has not been specified, but they are expected to be issued in the coming weeks.

This is just the latest in a series of outages affecting Verizon's network in recent months. The company has been working to improve its infrastructure and reduce downtime, but it appears that there is still work to be done.
