Verizon making progress resolving network issue snarling cellphone service

Major US carrier Verizon has announced that it is making headway in resolving a technical glitch affecting its network, which has left some customers struggling to access services such as cellular data and voice calls.

The issue, which began earlier this week, affected several states across the country, with users taking to social media to express their frustrations. While the exact cause of the problem remains unclear, Verizon officials say that engineers have been working around the clock to rectify the situation.

According to an update from the company, the network issues are being resolved "methodically" and that service is expected to be fully restored over the coming days. While some users may still experience intermittent disruptions, Verizon assures that its teams will continue to work tirelessly until all services are back online.
