Trump to House Republicans: If We Don't Win Midterms, I Will Get Impeached

In a surprising and somewhat ominous statement, President Trump told House Republicans that if they fail to secure a majority in the upcoming midterms, he believes his impeachment is all but certain.

The comment came during a closed-door meeting with Republican lawmakers on Wednesday, where the President emphasized the importance of retaining control of Congress for the remainder of his term. According to sources familiar with the conversation, Trump warned that Democratic gains would not only imperil his legislative agenda but also pave the way for impeachment proceedings.

The statement has sent shockwaves through Washington, sparking intense debate over the implications of a potential Democratic takeover in the House. While some Republicans have expressed confidence in their party's chances, others are bracing for the possibility of losing seats and facing the very real prospect of impeaching a President who has already survived one highly partisan inquiry.
