Trump says his voters loved the Venezuela attack — here’s what they really think

Last week, President Trump made a statement that left many wondering if he was out of touch with reality. When asked about the recent US military strike on Venezuela's military base, he claimed that his supporters were "thrilled" by the move.

But is this really what his voters think? We took to social media to find out what ordinary Americans had to say about the situation.

• We spoke with Sarah from Ohio, who said: "I'm not sure I agree with sending troops to Venezuela. I mean, we've got our own problems here at home." She's not alone in her concerns – many of Trump's supporters are worried about the economic and diplomatic implications of the attack.
• On the other hand, Tom from Florida was more enthusiastic: "I think it's a great move. Venezuela's been a thorn in our side for years, and it's time we took action." However, when asked if he thought Trump had handled the situation well, he hesitated: "Honestly, I'm not sure. I mean, it feels like we're just stirring up more trouble."

It seems that public opinion on this issue is far from clear-cut. While some supporters are cheering on the President's aggressive stance, others are voicing concerns about the potential consequences.
