Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary Has a Scathing Message for Job Seekers with Bad WiFi
Kevin O'Leary, also known as "Mr. Wonderful" from Shark Tank, has some tough love to share with job seekers. In an interview, he warned that if your resume is riddled with typos or your social media profiles are lacking, you're already off on the wrong foot - but what really gets his attention (or rather, what gets thrown straight in the garbage) is a lack of good WiFi.
O'Leary emphasized how essential it is for job seekers to have reliable internet access and to know how to use it effectively. "If you're showing up with no idea about your online presence or using outdated technology, that's a red flag," he said. "It shows me that you don't take the time to understand what's important in today's digital age."
With the rise of remote work and virtual meetings, having a solid understanding of online tools and platforms is more crucial than ever. Whether it's staying connected with colleagues or presenting a professional image through social media, WiFi is no longer just a nicety - it's a necessity.
