Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary Has Some Blunt Advice for Job Seekers
Investor and reality TV star Kevin O'Leary is known for his tough love approach to business, but a recent comment he made has some job seekers reeling. During an interview, O'Leary warned that if your resume shows you don't have reliable WiFi at home, he'll toss it in the garbage without hesitation.
We can understand why O'Leary might be skeptical - a slow or unreliable internet connection can make even the most qualified candidate look unprepared for the modern workforce. And let's be real, who needs a decent resume when you can just Google your way through an interview?
But before we all start frantically checking our WiFi speeds (ours is currently 650 Mbps, but don't @ us), it's worth remembering that O'Leary isn't just looking for someone with top-notch internet. He wants to invest in people who are smart, motivated, and can bring value to his business.
So what does this mean for job seekers? It's not about having the fastest WiFi - it's about being proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn. If you're applying for a job in tech or any other field that relies heavily on internet connectivity, make sure your resume shows off your technical skills and experience with cloud-based tools.
