Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary warns job seekers he’ll throw your resume ‘straight in the garbage’ if you have bad WiFi

Kevin O'Leary, also known as "Mr. Wonderful" from Shark Tank, has a reputation for being tough on entrepreneurs and investors alike. But his latest advice for job seekers might be one of his most surprising yet: he's warning that having subpar WiFi at home can hurt your chances of getting hired.

O'Leary made the comments during an appearance on a popular business podcast, where he was discussing what he looks for in a resume. "If I see that you have bad WiFi," he said bluntly, "I'll throw your resume straight in the garbage." The reason? O'Leary believes that having reliable and fast internet is essential for productivity and efficiency - skills that are valuable to any employer.

So what exactly makes good WiFi? According to O'Leary, it's not just about having a strong signal; it's also about having the right equipment. "If you're using an old router or a slow modem," he warned, "you're doing yourself a disservice." He recommends investing in a high-quality router and modem that can keep up with your family's needs.

Of course, good WiFi is just one aspect of being a productive and competitive job candidate. But O'Leary's comments do highlight the importance of staying ahead of the curve when it comes to technology - especially if you're looking to make a good impression on potential employers.
