Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary Warns Job Seekers: No Bad WiFi Allowed

We've all heard it before: "Make sure you have a reliable internet connection" when searching for a job or starting a business. But Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary is taking it to the next level, warning job seekers that bad WiFi will get their resumes tossed straight into the trash.

During an interview with The Street, O'Leary shared his thoughts on what he looks for in a candidate's personal and professional setup. While we might expect him to focus on things like work experience or education, he surprised us by emphasizing the importance of having good WiFi at home.

"If you're showing up with a resume that says you don't have stable internet access at home, I'm going to throw your resume straight in the garbage," O'Leary bluntly stated. "Because if you can't even be bothered to set up reliable internet at home, how are you going to handle it at work?"

For those of us who value our WiFi (and let's face it, most of us do!), this shouldn't come as a surprise. But it's interesting to see O'Leary prioritizing something so practical in his job search criteria.

Why Good WiFi Matters in the Job Search

• Stability and Reliability: A good internet connection can provide stability and reliability, essential qualities for any professional looking to make a good impression.
• Efficiency: With reliable WiFi, you'll be able to work efficiently and effectively, without distractions or interruptions from poor connections.
• Convenience: Being able to access the tools and resources you need at home will make your life easier and more convenient, especially when working remotely.
