Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary: Don't Even Think About Applying If Your WiFi is Subpar
Kevin O'Leary, also known as "Mr. Wonderful" from Shark Tank, isn't afraid to speak his mind when it comes to job seekers and their online presence. In a recent interview, he dropped a bombshell that's sure to make many of us sit up straight: if you have bad WiFi at home, your resume is headed for the trash.
"If I see someone who has poor connectivity at home, with buffering and stuff like that," O'Leary said bluntly, "I will literally throw your resume straight in the garbage." Ouch!
But why does he think this way? For one thing, it says a lot about how you approach technology. If you can't even set up a reliable home network, how are you going to contribute to a company's digital infrastructure?
- O'Leary believes that WiFi is no longer just a convenience; it's an essential tool for any modern job seeker.
- With more and more work being done remotely, having fast and reliable internet access at home is crucial.
We can't say we disagree with O'Leary on this one. After all, in today's digital age, a strong online presence is no longer just about having a LinkedIn profile - it's also about being able to stream and work seamlessly from anywhere.
