Resident Says She Can't Open Windows Anymore Because of 'Rotten' Smell from Living Near Elon Musk's Giant Data Center

A resident of a small town in California is speaking out about the "rotten" smell that's been plaguing her neighborhood - and she blames it squarely on Elon Musk's massive data center nearby.

According to reports, the woman claims the pungent odor has become so overwhelming that she can no longer open her windows or enjoy a peaceful evening at home. She's not alone in her concerns: several other residents have reportedly complained about the smell as well.

• The data center in question is one of the largest of its kind in the country, covering over 1 million square feet and housing some of Musk's most ambitious projects, including his Neuralink brain-machine interface venture.
• While the facility is designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, it appears that something may have gone awry with regards to odor control.

The resident who came forward has been using a few creative solutions to mask the smell in her home - including candles and essential oils.
