Philadelphia weather: Measurable snow expected this weekend with bitter cold temps

The City of Brotherly Love is bracing for a blast of winter weather, and it's not just a tease - measurable snowfall is on tap for the Philadelphia area this weekend.

A low-pressure system moving into the region will bring with it a blanket of snow, with forecasters predicting anywhere from 1-4 inches in some areas. While that might not be enough to cancel your plans entirely, it's still enough to cause some disruptions and make for a chilly commute on Saturday morning.

And speaking of cold temps, get ready to bundle up - lows are expected to dip into the single digits by Sunday night, making it feel more like January than March. If you're heading out this weekend, be sure to grab your warmest coat (and maybe even a pair of gloves or a hat) to stay cozy.
