PepsiCo to Cut Prices, Eliminate Products as Part of Deal with Activist Investor

Big news for fans of America's favorite snacks and drinks: PepsiCo has just announced that it will be cutting prices on some products and eliminating others as part of a deal with activist investor Nelson Peltz.

The move is seen as an effort to boost sales and improve profitability, according to reports. As part of the agreement, PepsiCo will also increase its dividend payments to shareholders. It's worth noting that this news comes on the heels of a similar deal between activist investor Bill Ackman and McDonald's last year.

So what exactly does this mean for consumers? Well, we may see prices drop on certain popular items like Frito-Lay chips or Gatorade, which could be good news for budget-conscious shoppers. On the other hand, some products might disappear from store shelves altogether.
