NVIDIA is reportedly bringing back 2021's RTX 3060 GPU because AI is eating all of the newer cards

It seems like NVIDIA is having a change of heart when it comes to their graphics card lineup. After introducing their latest and greatest GPUs, they're now reportedly reviving an older model from 2021 - the RTX 3060.

The reason behind this move isn't just due to popular demand or consumer preference. According to insiders, NVIDIA is bringing back the RTX 3060 because it's struggling to keep up with the massive demand for graphics processing units (GPUs) driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

• A recent report claims that over 60% of all GPUs sold in 2022 were used for AI and machine learning applications, leaving little stock for gaming enthusiasts.
• This shortage has led to a significant price hike for newer GPUs, making them unaffordable for many gamers and content creators.

By reviving the RTX 3060, NVIDIA aims to fill this gap in the market and provide more affordable options for those who need a capable GPU without breaking the bank. This move could also help alleviate some of the pressure on newer GPUs caused by AI-driven demand.

We're curious to see how this will play out - will the revived RTX 3060 live up to its predecessor's reputation, or will it be a watered-down version? One thing's for sure: NVIDIA is taking steps to address the current GPU shortage and meet the growing demands of the market.
