NVIDIA is reportedly bringing back 2021's RTX 3060 GPU because AI is eating all of the newer cards

It looks like NVIDIA is taking a step backward to move forward. According to rumors, the company is set to re-release its 2021 graphics card, the RTX 3060, due in part to the high demand for AI processing.

The reason behind this decision is an interesting one. Apparently, the newer GPUs that have been released since the RTX 3060's initial debut are being gobbled up by data centers and AI researchers, leaving a shortage of high-end graphics cards available for consumers.

This move might come as a surprise to some, but it's actually a reflection of the changing landscape in the tech world. As AI continues to advance at an incredible pace, the demand for processing power is skyrocketing, and manufacturers are struggling to keep up.

What does this mean for gamers?

While this news might seem like a win for gamers who can't get their hands on newer GPUs, it's worth noting that the re-released RTX 3060 won't necessarily be an upgrade over its predecessors. It will still offer competitive performance at a lower price point, but it might not be the best option for those looking to future-proof their systems.

That being said, if you're in the market for a new GPU and can't afford to wait, the re-released RTX 3060 could be a viable choice. Just keep in mind that it's still an older model, and you might find better options on the market.
