Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Sounds Alarm: AI Boom Will Unlock New Jobs in Unlikely Fields

At a recent tech conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made an eyebrow-raising statement that has left many in the industry scratching their heads. According to Huang, the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) centers will create a massive demand for skilled workers - and not just tech experts.

Speaking candidly about the impact of AI on the job market, Huang claimed that "a lot" of six-figure jobs in industries like plumbing and construction are about to become available. His reasoning? With AI centers popping up all over the world, someone needs to build these massive facilities - and it won't be done by automation alone.

While some might view this as a surprising prediction, Huang's comments highlight the often-overlooked reality of building and maintaining complex infrastructure like AI centers. From architects to electricians, plumbers to engineers, the demand for skilled workers will only continue to grow.

The Jobs of the Future

• Construction: With AI centers being built at a rapid pace, construction workers with specialized skills will be in high demand.
• Plumbing and HVAC: As AI centers require large amounts of power and cooling, plumbers and HVAC technicians will play a crucial role in ensuring these facilities run smoothly.
• Electrical and IT Infrastructure: With the constant need for updates and maintenance, electrical and IT infrastructure specialists will be essential to keeping AI centers online.

As the world becomes increasingly reliant on AI, it's clear that the traditional tech sector won't be the only one feeling the impact. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, now might be the perfect time to consider a career in these fields.
