More Snow? Another Round of Winter Weather Could Hit the DMV this Weekend

If you thought we were done with winter, think again! Forecasters are predicting another round of wintry weather for our nation's capital and surrounding areas this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, which includes Northern Virginia and parts of Maryland. This means that snow, sleet, or freezing rain could hit the region by Saturday afternoon, making for a potentially messy commute.

• Snowfall totals are expected to be significant, with some areas potentially seeing up to 6 inches of accumulation.
• Freezing temperatures will make road conditions hazardous, especially on untreated surfaces.

If you have outdoor plans this weekend, it's a good idea to check the weather forecast frequently and adjust your itinerary accordingly. And if you're anything like us, you'll want to stay cozy indoors with a warm cup of coffee or tea (or maybe even a hot chocolate!). Speaking of staying cozy...
