Mamdani roasted for ‘idiotic and moronic’ warning on NYC snowstorm

New York City residents are shaking their heads after a weather forecast from meteorologist Janice Mamdani went viral for all the wrong reasons.

According to reports, Mamdani warned viewers that a significant snowstorm was headed towards the city, causing widespread disruptions and hazardous road conditions. However, her warning took an unexpected turn when she described it as "idiotic" and "moronic" to even venture outside during the storm.

The reaction on social media was immediate, with many calling out Mamdani for her off-putting language. While some sympathized with her frustration over the city's notoriously slow snow response, others simply couldn't get past her choice of words.

• Some questioned whether Mamdani's comments were necessary or even professional
• Others felt that her warning overshadowed her actual forecast and advice
• Mamdani's defenders argued that she was simply frustrated with the city's handling of winter weather
