Long time appliance chain shutters doors, files Chapter 11 bankruptcy

After a decade of dominating the home appliance market, popular chain **ApplianceMax** has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is closing all its stores across the country.

The news came as a shock to consumers who have come to rely on the brand's affordable prices and wide selection. But what does this mean for customers with existing purchases or warranties?

What happens next?

• Stores will remain open until supplies last, allowing customers to grab any remaining deals.
• A "store closing" sale has been announced, offering discounts on already discounted items. However, these prices may not be the lowest you'll find elsewhere.
• Customers with warranties or ongoing service contracts should contact ApplianceMax directly for more information about their rights and next steps.

We spoke to a few customers who expressed mixed feelings about the news. While some were disappointed by the closure, others saw it as an opportunity to snag a great deal on a new appliance.

For those looking to upgrade or repair appliances in the future, we recommend exploring alternative brands and options. Some popular alternatives include **Dyson**, which offers high-end, innovative products with strong customer support.

Stay tuned for more updates

We'll be monitoring the situation and providing updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, customers are advised to reach out directly to ApplianceMax with any questions or concerns.
