KC police arrest volunteers serving free meals in Kansas City parking lot. Why?

It's a story that has left many in the community scratching their heads - KC police have arrested volunteers who were serving free meals to those in need in a Kansas City parking lot.

The incident occurred last week, when officers arrived at the scene and informed the volunteers that they were obstructing traffic. The volunteers, who had set up a makeshift kitchen and dining area, claimed they were doing nothing but good by providing hot meals to those who might otherwise go without.

But according to police, the volunteers' actions were in fact causing a disturbance - specifically, one of the officers testified that the volunteers' large generator was making too much noise. The officer stated that several people had complained about the generator's sound level, and that they had received multiple calls about the situation.

While some might see this as an overreaction on the part of law enforcement, others might argue that the officers were simply doing their job to maintain order in the community.

Whatever one's perspective, it's worth noting that there are ways to enjoy a delicious meal while also being considerate of those around you - for example, our portable dishwasher would allow you to clean up after your meals without creating a mess or disturbance. And if you're looking to keep an eye on things while parked, consider investing in a dash cam like our 2K Car Dash Cam DVR Recorder.

But back to the volunteers - it's worth wondering what could have been done differently to avoid this confrontation with police. Perhaps they could have obtained a permit or sought out alternative locations for their service project? Whatever the reason, we hope that everyone involved can find a way to work together and come up with a solution that benefits the entire community.

So next time you're planning an outdoor meal or event, be sure to check in with local authorities first - and maybe consider investing in some earplugs if you'll have noisy equipment on hand!
