James Carville Says 'Loser' Trump's Reign Is 'Over' After Rally
Donald Trump's recent rallies have been met with a mix of enthusiasm from his loyal supporters and skepticism from critics, but one prominent Democrat believes that the former President's time in the spotlight is coming to an end. James Carville, a longtime Democratic strategist and commentator, made headlines over the weekend by stating that Trump's reign is "over."
Speaking on CNN, Carville explained that while Trump has maintained a loyal following, his popularity has waned significantly since leaving office. "The guy's a loser," Carville said bluntly. "He lost the election, he lost the House, he lost the Senate... and now he's losing in the polls."
Carville's comments come as Trump prepares to announce whether or not he'll make another run for the White House. While some of his supporters are urging him to throw his hat into the ring once again, many analysts believe that a second Trump campaign would be a long shot at best.
Why Carville Thinks Trump's Time Is Up
So what makes Carville so confident that Trump's time is over? According to the commentator, it all comes down to numbers. "The guy can't win," Carville said. "He can't even get a majority of the country on his side."
Carville pointed out that Trump's approval ratings have been in decline for years, and that he's struggled to connect with key demographics like younger voters and people of color.
