It's time to start doing something.

In a show of defiance and determination, Minnesotans are stepping up to take on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), despite the risks of violence and intimidation that have come with it. The movement, which began as a response to the separation of migrant families at the border, has gained momentum in recent weeks.

Protesters have been gathering outside ICE facilities across the state, demanding an end to what they see as inhumane treatment of migrants. Many are also calling for the abolition of ICE altogether, citing its role in enforcing policies that target vulnerable communities.

Risks and Consequences

While the message is clear – that immigrants have a right to be treated with dignity and respect – there's no sugarcoating the risks involved. Protesters have reported being confronted by ICE agents, who have been accused of using aggressive tactics to silence them.

Despite these risks, many Minnesotans are refusing to back down. For them, it's a matter of standing up for what they believe in – that every individual has the right to live free from fear and persecution.

A Community United

• Families and children have been at the forefront of the movement, using their voices to demand change.
• Local organizations are providing critical support to protesters, offering food, shelter, and medical care as needed.
• Civic leaders and elected officials are speaking out against ICE policies, calling for greater accountability and transparency.

In the face of adversity, Minnesotans are showing that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. As one protester put it: "It's time to start doing something."
