House Republicans made matters even worse for Trump on his day from hell

Yesterday was supposed to be a big day for Donald Trump - he had a packed schedule of meetings and appearances in Washington D.C. But things didn't quite go as planned.

• First, the New York Times reported that Trump's former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, is cooperating with federal prosecutors and has provided information about Trump's dealings with Russia.
• Then, it was revealed that several key Republicans in Congress are considering voting against Trump's nominee for a top trade post.
• And to top it all off, the House Judiciary Committee announced plans to hold a hearing next week on potential obstruction of justice charges against Trump.

It's safe to say that yesterday was not the best day for Trump - or his team. And with more bad news potentially on the horizon, it's anyone's guess what the future holds for the embattled president.
