Heavy Rain, High Tides Cause Flooding Along Stretch of Northern California

A powerful storm system brought heavy rain and high tides to a significant portion of Northern California on Tuesday, resulting in widespread flooding across several counties.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the region, cautioning residents and commuters to exercise extreme caution when traveling through affected areas. Several major highways were closed due to impassable roads, causing disruptions to daily life and business operations.

Residents of coastal towns reported ankle-deep water in their homes, while others saw significant damage to property and infrastructure. Emergency responders worked tirelessly to evacuate those in need and provide assistance where possible.
