President Donald Trump's latest announcement about his planned White House ballroom has left many people scratching their heads - and some even laughing out loud. According to reports, the proposed room will feature a large chandelier, velvet drapes, and a "very beautiful" crystal-encrusted floor.

"It sounds like something you'd see in a first-grade classroom," tweeted one critic. Others called it "over-the-top" and "ridiculous." The reactions range from amusement to outrage, with some people questioning the priorities of the White House renovation.

The new details come as Trump continues to push for his long-planned renovation of the White House, which has been met with both enthusiasm and criticism. While some see it as a necessary update to the nation's most iconic residence, others view it as a waste of taxpayer dollars.
