First-time Tesla owner shares what shocked him the most after owning the car for a year: 'The more I drive this car…'

As a first-time Tesla owner, there's plenty to get excited about – from the sleek design to the cutting-edge tech features. But what happens when you've had your shiny new ride for a while? Do the initial thrills wear off, or do they intensify with time?

We caught up with one of our readers who recently shared his thoughts on owning a Tesla after a year on the road.

• He was shocked by how seamlessly it integrated into his daily life. "I thought I'd get tired of it quickly, but the more I drive this car, the more I fall in love with it," he said.
• The supercharger network was a game-changer for him – he loves being able to refuel quickly and easily on long trips.
• But what really surprised him was how energy-efficient his Tesla proved to be. "I thought I'd have to adjust my driving habits, but it's actually made me a more mindful driver," he said with a laugh.

"The best part? It's become so intuitive that I barely even think about using Autopilot anymore – it just feels like second nature," our reader revealed.
