First-time Tesla owner shares what shocked him the most after owning the car for a year: 'The more I drive this car…'

But as he began driving his new Model 3 on a daily basis, John discovered some unexpected features that have made his driving experience more enjoyable and convenient.

• Regenerative braking: "I'm not sure if it's because I'm still getting used to driving an EV, but I was surprised by how smoothly the car slows down using regenerative braking. It's like a gentle hug for the brakes," John said with a chuckle.
