Dad Tried to Keep Daughter 'Calm' as Helicopter Plunged 500 Feet to Ground. After Crash, She Asked, 'Are You Alive?'

A harrowing helicopter crash landed on a California golf course last week, leaving a family shaken but remarkably unharmed.

Dad-of-two, David, has spoken out about the terrifying ordeal, revealing how he desperately tried to keep his daughter calm as their chopper plummeted 500 feet to the ground.

The family of four was on a routine flight when the helicopter suddenly went down. Witnesses described the impact as 'surreal', with debris scattered everywhere.

• David's quick thinking and bravery undoubtedly helped save his family from potential disaster.
• The helicopter, which is now under investigation, miraculously avoided a direct hit on any nearby buildings or people.

When asked how he kept his cool during the emergency, David humbly said: 'It's just instinct.' But we can't help but wonder if it was more than that. After all, this dad-of-two has probably had plenty of practice in high-pressure situations!

Family's Close Call

The family is still coming to terms with the terrifying experience, but remarkably, their spirits remain high.

'We're just grateful to be alive,' said David. 'It could have been so much worse.' When his daughter asked him if they were all okay after the crash, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in her resilience.

What's Next?

The family is now back on solid ground – literally! – and is being supported by loved ones as they recover from their ordeal.

While we can't speculate about what might have caused the crash, it's a stark reminder of the importance of staying vigilant and prepared in emergency situations.
