Dad Reported Missing Over 24 Hours After He Went Surfing and Never Returned

Rescuers found a dad stranded but alive after he went missing for over 24 hours while out surfing. The man, whose identity has not been released, was last seen by his family as he left the beach on Saturday morning.

A search party launched a massive operation to find him, scouring the coastline and nearby waters. But despite their best efforts, they were unable to locate him until Sunday evening, when he stumbled into shore, disoriented but otherwise unhurt.

The family, who wish to remain anonymous, say that they're just grateful to have him back home safe and sound. "We thought the worst," said a family member in an interview. "But we never gave up hope that he would turn up, and now that he's home, we're all relieved."

This close call serves as a stark reminder of the importance of taking safety precautions when engaging in water sports. Even experienced surfers can get caught out by unpredictable weather conditions or strong currents.
