Costco Shoplifting Couple Caught Red-Handed

Sacramento authorities have arrested a couple accused of making off with multiple bottles of liquor from a Costco store, according to reports.

The incident reportedly occurred when store employees noticed the pair attempting to conceal several bottles in their shopping cart. When confronted, the duo allegedly fled the scene, but were later apprehended by deputies.

• Authorities estimated that the stolen liquor was valued at around $1,000
• The couple faces charges of shoplifting and theft
