Costco Shoplifting Couple's Liquor Heist Foiled by Sacramento Deputies

A Sacramento couple is facing charges after they were caught allegedly shoplifting multiple bottles of liquor from a Costco warehouse, according to local law enforcement.

The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday evening when a store security officer noticed two individuals concealing items in their clothing. Upon further inspection, deputies found over 20 bottles of liquor stashed inside the pair's vehicle, officials said.

• Shoplifting is a serious offense that can have severe consequences for both the perpetrator and the business affected.
• Costco takes security very seriously, with many locations employing on-site surveillance systems to deter theft and protect customers.

The pair was taken into custody by Sacramento deputies and charged with grand theft. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting store policies and purchasing items through legitimate means.

It's worth noting that while this incident involved liquor, there are many fun ways to enjoy your favorite beverages at home without breaking any rules. Perhaps consider investing in a home bar setup or a bottle cooler to keep your drinks chilled to perfection!
