Costco Quietly Makes a Major Credit Card Change Members Love

Costco members are already familiar with the warehouse club's impressive perks, but there's been a significant change to their credit card that has gone largely under the radar – and it's got fans of the program singing its praises.

The change in question is the way Costco handles foreign transaction fees. For those who haven't kept up on the details, these fees are essentially charges levied when you use your card abroad, typically adding 1-3% to your bill. But as of recently, American Express and Citi, the credit cards issued by Costco, have decided to eliminate this fee for all transactions – domestic or international.

This change is a huge win for frequent travelers and shoppers who often need to make purchases outside the country. No longer will you need to factor in these extra charges when exploring foreign markets or shopping online with international retailers.

Of course, this change is also beneficial for those who prefer to shop from home. It's a subtle but significant shift that's sure to please even the most discerning Costco enthusiasts.
