Company hit with six-figure fine in crackdown on selling illegal car devices: 'All we do is bend tubes into crazy shapes for trucks'
A company that specializes in manufacturing and selling aftermarket automotive parts has been slapped with a hefty six-figure fine by regulators. The company, which remains unnamed, was accused of selling devices that are not approved for use on public roads. According to reports, the company's products were found to be non-compliant with federal safety standards, putting drivers and other road users at risk. In a statement, the company's spokesperson seemed to downplay the severity of the issue, saying "All we do is bend tubes into crazy shapes for trucks."
