Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Names New Council Members

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has appointed 14 men to a new council, including some notable figures from the entertainment industry. The move marks an effort by the church to engage with its younger members and promote inclusivity.

Among those chosen for the council are Jared Haibeck, a producer on the popular Netflix series "Chosen," and Hyrum Andrus, a well-known YouTuber with millions of followers. Both men have been vocal about their faith and use social media to share inspiring stories and experiences.

The new council members bring a diverse range of skills and expertise to the table, including business, education, and non-profit management. Church leaders hope that this fresh perspective will help guide the church's mission in the years ahead.
