The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) has made some significant changes to its leadership structure by appointing a group of 14 men to a new council. Among the newly appointed members is Jason Martz, an American filmmaker and producer who's perhaps best known for his work on the popular reality TV show 'Chosen', as well as his own YouTube channel.

Martz joins other notable figures in the Mormon community, including former NBA player Jimmer Fredette, singer-songwriter Paul Cardall, and bestselling author Brandon Flowers. The new council aims to focus on promoting unity within the LDS Church and providing support for its members across different age groups and communities.

The appointments were announced in a statement released by the LDS Church, highlighting the individuals' 'dedication to serving others' and their commitment to upholding church values. With this move, the LDS Church is seeking to engage with its younger demographic and promote intergenerational connections within the community.

Jason Martz's inclusion on the council has sparked interest among fans of his work, who are eager to see how he'll contribute to the church's efforts. As a popular YouTuber, Martz has built a reputation for his inspiring content and dedication to sharing uplifting stories.
