The woman, identified as 59-year-old Karen Weaver, was serving a sentence for hiring a killer to take out her husband in 2018. According to reports, the couple's marriage had been marred by infidelity and financial disputes. On May 24th, Weaver was granted an early release from the California Women's Facility in Corona.
However, it didn't take long for tragedy to strike again. Just a month after her release, on June 25th, authorities received a report of a body found at Weaver's home. The investigation revealed that she had taken her own life.
