Army-Navy Crowd Made It Clear How They Feel About President Trump
As thousands of cadets and midshipmen gathered for the annual Army-Navy game, it was clear that this year's event would be anything but ordinary. The sold-out crowd at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York, made their feelings about the country's current leader perfectly clear. The tension was palpable as President Trump took to the field for a ceremonial coin toss before kickoff. While some fans gave him a lukewarm reception, others showed their disdain by booing and jeering. When the President's helicopter flew overhead, the crowd responded with chants of "Lock him up!"
For many in attendance, the President's presence was seen as a distraction from the real focus: the game itself. "We're here to support our teams, not to politicize the event," said one Army fan.
However you feel about the President's policies or personality, one thing is clear: the Army-Navy game is more than just a sporting event - it's an opportunity for the country's future leaders to come together and make some noise.
