Apple just announced a new AirTag -- but it's still lacking features found on my favorite Bluetooth tracker

Last week, Apple unveiled its latest addition to the tracking device family: the new AirTag Pro. This tiny Bluetooth chip is designed to help you keep tabs on your keys, wallet, or other valuables. But after putting it through its paces, I have to say - while it's a solid choice for some users, it still can't compete with my go-to Bluetooth tracker.

One of the main reasons I prefer my current tracking device is because it offers more precise location tracking capabilities. While the AirTag Pro has made strides in this area, it still lags behind when it comes to pinpointing your item's exact location on a map. This can be especially frustrating if you're trying to locate something in a crowded space.

Another feature that sets my preferred tracker apart is its longer battery life. AirTags, like their predecessor, require a fresh charge every few months - which can get annoying if you're someone who likes to set it and forget it. My trusty Bluetooth tracker, on the other hand, has been running for years without needing a single recharge.

So what's the verdict? If you're already invested in the Apple ecosystem and want a simple, easy-to-use tracking solution, the AirTag Pro might be the way to go. But if you're looking for more advanced features - like better location tracking or longer battery life - I'd recommend exploring other options.
