Air France Economy Meal Draws Criticism After Passenger Compares It To ‘Prison Lunch’

A recent review of Air France's economy meal has gone viral after a passenger compared it to the food they've had while incarcerated. While we can't say for sure if this comparison is entirely fair, one thing is certain: airline meals are often an acquired taste.

For those who have ever been on a long-haul flight, you'll know that the quality of in-flight cuisine can be hit or miss. And it seems like Air France's economy meal has been hitting some sour notes with passengers lately.

• The passenger in question took to social media to share their disappointing experience, claiming that the meal was not much better than what they'd had on a previous trip to a correctional facility.
• While this might seem like an exaggeration, it's worth noting that some passengers have indeed been complaining about the quality of Air France's economy meals in recent months.

So, what can you do if you're looking for better food options on your next flight? One option is to consider upgrading to a higher class of service – but this can be pricey. Another idea is to pack some snacks or even bring a portable meal with you onto the plane.
