A once-thriving shopping center on the outskirts of Los Angeles has been taken over by vandals, with police reporting 402 calls for service since October alone.

The vacant mall in Paramount, California, has seen its fair share of crime and neglect since it closed in 2017. Despite efforts to revitalize the area, the property has become a hotspot for graffiti artists, looters, and other miscreants.

What's Happening at the Abandoned Mall?

• 402 police calls have been made since October, with reports of everything from petty theft to more serious crimes like assault and burglary.
